Quinton Thomas Bass, 77, of Route 3, husband of Mrs. Wessie Saunders Bass and a native of Chowan County, died Monday in Chowan Hospital. A funeral was held Wednesday in Macedonia Baptist Church by the Rev. Charles Harris. Burial was in Beaver Hill Cemetery. He was a retired merchant and farmer and a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Lillian Williford of Chesapeake; a son, Thomas Bass of Edenton; a sister, Mrs. Winnie White of Hobbsville; a brother, Reuben Bass of Edenton; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
