Mrs. Nadine Buffington, 91, passed away Saturday, December 25, 2021 at West Georgia Medical Center in Lagrange, Georgia.
Mrs. Buffington was born in Griffin, Georgia on December 31, 1929. Her parents, Willie Joe and Mildred Bass; husband, Herbert Buffington; brothers, Millard Bass, Roger Bass; sisters, Helen Harwell, Virginia Buffington and two great grandsons, Trey and Slade Buffington; Laura and Justin Morris, all precede her in death. Nadine was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member of Kincaid United Methodist Church. She enjoyed flowers and gardening. Nadine especially loved shopping and vacationing. She was married to her late husband, Herbert Howard Buffington for 46 years.
Survivors include son Kim Buffington (Janice); daughter, Vickie Laxson (James); grandsons, Chris Buffington (Nicole), Stacy Buffington (Tanya); great-grandchildren, Alexys Buffington, Sydney Buffington, Easton Buffington, Jasper Buffington, Sean McClure; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Wednesday, December 29, 2021 for 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. A funeral service will be Thursday, December 30, 2021 in the chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Griffin Memorial Gardens. Reverend Sandra Fendley will officiate.
