M.L. Bass
Services for Marcus Lee Bass, 56, Sheffield, Rt. 1, who died of gunshot wounds, will be conducted Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. from Mitchell Street Baptist Church in Florence by Rev. C. E. Taylor and Rev. Lloyd Love. Burial will be in Florence Cemetery, Morrison-Elkins, Tuscumbia, directing.
Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Dora Louise Bass, Sheffield, Rt. 1; four daughters, Mrs. Willene B. Jones, Florence; Mrs. June Strickland, Huntsville; Misses Gail and Donna Bass, Sheiffield; two sons, Marcus, Town Creek; Charlie, Sheffield; six sisters, Mrs. Frank Schmidts, Freemont, Mich.; Mrs. L.B. Ingram, Sheffield; Mrs. F.E. Smith, Miss Nell Bass, both of San Diego, Calif.; Mrs. John Sesler, Killen, Mrs. Lowell Austin, Florence; two brothers, Frank Edward Bass, Sheffield; E.M. Bass, Florence, three grandchildren.
Bearers will be Lowell Austin, Jerry Cofield, James Brown, Farris McGee, Jodie Skipworth, John Sessler, Wayne Sessler, David Johnson.
The body will be at Morrison-Elkins, Tuscumbia, until being placed in the church one hour prior to services.
