William Bass
FAIRMONT ? William Carl Bass, 73, of Fairmont, passed away Jan. 26, 2016, at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton, N.C.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Floyd Funeral Services Chapel in Fairmont, the Revs. Paul Priest, Mark Bateman, and Bruce Brumfield officiating.
The visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Floyd Funeral Services in Fairmont.
Burial will follow in Olivet Cemetery in Marietta.
He was born April 19, 1942, in Robeson County.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Generatte Bass and Bernice Mishue Bass.
He is survived by his wife Clara May Bass of the home; a son, Jason Carl Bass and wife Amy of Fairmont; a daughter, Sonya Rena Silcox of Lumberton; three brothers, Ronnie Strong, J.E. Bass, and Jerry Bass; two sisters, Judy Bass and Bonnie Bass; and four grandchildren, Tony Silcox, Jordan Butler, Gabby Silcox, and Ava Silcox.
