Eloise Bell Bass
Mrs. Eloise Bell Bass, 94, of 498 Byrd Yancey Bass Road, Clinton, died Wednesday at Sampson Regional Medical Center, Clinton, NC.
Mrs. Bass, born in Sampson County, was the daughter of the late James Eddie Bell and Amanda George Bell and the widow of Harvey James Bass. She was also preceded in death by a son, Harvey Douglas Bass.
She is survived by daughters, Joyce Collins and husband W.P. and Peggy Cottle and husband Billy; grandchildren, Christi Naylor and husband Jeff, Walt Collins and wife Ashley, and Jamie Cottle; and great grandchildren, Cullen Cottle, Grant Naylor, Hope Cottle, Blair Naylor, Jack Collins, Abby Collins, Caroline Collins, and Ellie Collins.
The family received friends from 12:30 PM to 1:45 PM, prior to services, in the church sanctuary and other times at the home of her daughter at 521 Byrd Yancey Bass Road.
The Funeral services were held at 2 PM, Saturday, February 4, 2017 at Rowan Baptist Church with the Rev. Clay Carter and the Rev. Mike Shook officiating.
Burial was made in the Church Cemetery.
The family entrusted the care of Mrs. Bass to the Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home of Clinton.
