  Notes	Providence Journal, Rhode Island, Thursday, January 2, 1988 Bertha M. Bassett, 101 Bertha M. Bassett, 101, of 39 Division St., who was one of the oldest residents in town, died Monday at the Ridgewood Court Nursing Home, Attleboro. She was the widow of Alfred H. "Harry" Bassett. Born in Philadelphia, a daughter of the late Ebenezer and Esther A. (Cropper) Griffiths, she lived in North Attleboro most of her life. Mrs. Bassett had worked for the Whiting and Davis Co., Plainville, and Mandallian's Jewelry Co. in North Attleboro. She was a former choir member of the First United Methodist Church, a member of Esther Rebekah Lodge 12, and a member of the Philathea Class at the First Baptist Church. She leaves several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held tomorrow at 10 a.m. at the Edward A. Dyer Funeral Home, 160 Commonwealth Ave. Burial will be in Plainville Cemetery, Plainville.
