  Notes	Times-Georgian, Carrollton, Georgia, Sunday, January 18, 2009 Billy Joe Bass Mr. Billy Joe Bass, age 70, of Valley Green Dr., Carrollton, Georgia, passed away Friday, January 16, 2009. Mr. Bass was born March 10, 1938, in Carroll County, Georgia, the son of the late Christine Huckeba Bass and William Marvin Bass. He was a retired machinist having worked for Trent Tube. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Elaine Green Bass, and a son, Billy Wayne Bass. Survivors include his children and their spouses, Jo Bass Rigsby and her husband Ronnie of Roopville, Ga., Wesley Bass of Carrollton and Wade and Rhonda Bass of Bowdon; brothers, Ralph and Linda Bass of Carrollton; three grandchildren, William Russell Rigsby, Jenna Maxwell and Derrick Norton. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, January 18, 2009, at 4 p.m. from Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel with Rev. David Huckeba officiating. Pallbearers will be Michael Womack, Andy Whitley, Kenneth Brown, Shawn Langley, D.J. Langley and Clete Shadinger. Interment will follow in Shady Grove Baptist Church.
