Mrs. Mary Bassett
LEOMINSTER ? Mrs. Mary (Mansfield) Bassett, 86, of 9 High St., died yesterday at the home. She was the widow of William J. Bassett.
Born in Tidioute, Pa., she had lived in this city many years. She was a charter member of Daughters of Isabella.
She leaves two sons, Edward Bassett, assistang Leominister postmaster and Harold Bassett of Leominster; a sister, Mrs. Katherine Snyder of Tidioute, Pa.; a brother, Joseph Mansfield of Oil City, Pa.; six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held Wednesday morning at 8:15 from the Thomas F. Wright Funeral Home, with a Solemn High Mass at St. Leo?s Church at 9 a.m. Burial will be in St. Bernard?s Cemetery, Fitchburg.
Calling hours at the funeral home are today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
