Llewellyn Bass

Llewellyn ?Bud? Bass passed away October 31, 2022, at the age of 91, at home with his loving wife Sherry at his side. Bud was born in Cleveland Ohio on May 19, 1931 to the late John Bass and Minnie Fox. He was the second of seven children and the oldest son. As a child, Bud took many jobs after school including setting pins in a bowling alley, picking up broken glass in a brewery, all to assist his family. After a brief stint in the US Navy, Bud hired into Ford Motor Company in 1955, a fabulous career that would span 38 years for him. Preceding him in death are his two children (from previous marriage), a son, Stephen Bass and a daughter, Louellen Bass, along with his parents and three sisters: Margaret Watson, Marie Bass and Gloria Jean Bass.
Bud is survived by; his wife, Sherry Bass, daughter Jennifer (Trevor) Stevens, grandchildren Abigael, Samuel, and Henry Stevens. His brother John Bass II, sisters Victoria Bass and Mildred Bass. His brother-in-law and sister-in-law Edward and Leslie Standen and nephews Kevin and Erik Standen. Also, many other nephews and nieces in his former home state of Ohio.
A celebration of Life is planned for November 12, 2022, from 1PM to 4PM in the clubhouse of Lighthouse Point Gardens, 2050 NE 39 Street, Lighthouse Point FL 33064.
