Thelma Bass
ELBERTON, Ga. ? Thelma Brewer Bass, 90, of Spring Valley Health Care Center, formerly of 361 E. Church St., died Thursday, Nov. 20, 1997, in Spring Valley Health Care Center.
Born in Elbert County, she was a homemaker and a member of the Elberton First United Methodist Church.
Surviving are son, Robert E. Bass Jr. of Flat Rock, N.C.; daughter, Charlene B. Riley of Atlanta; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was the widow of Robert E. ?Bob? Bass and was the daughter of the late Charles and Janie Pruitt Brewer.
Graveside services are at 11 a.m. Saturday at Elmhurst cemetery by Dr. Wallace Wheeles. The family will receive friends from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Hicks Funeral Home. The family suggests that memorial may be made to the Elberton Frist United Methodist Church.
