Funeral services for Anderson (Kooney) Bass, 64, who died Sunday, will be held Tuesday at 3 p.m. at Greenleaf Pentecostal Holiness Church. The Rev. W.G. Batten, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Wayne Memorial Park. Surviving are his wife Mrs. Ms. Effie Collins Bass; two daughters, Mrs. LaVerne Coats of Willow Springs, Rt. 1 and Mrs. Loraine Strickland of Goldsboro; one son, Jesse of Goldsboro; one sister, Mrs. Minnie Mustgrave of Norfolk, Va.; four brothers, Lorice and Chester Bass, both of Norfolk, Va., Redden of Kenly and Willie of Princeton; and seven grandchildren. He was a retired farmer and a native of Johnston County.
