She was born Feb. 8, 1918, in Troy, Texas, to Charles Henry and Mary Lena (Prince) Bass. She graduated from Canyon Community High School and worked as a LVN in Lubbock for many years. She was a member of the Broadway Church of Christ. Bonnie is survived by nieces, Ruth Ross, Jean Nettles and Gay Garoutte, and nephews, Charles and Bobby Bass. Graveside services will be held on Monday, April 14, 2012, at 2 p.m. in City of Lubbock Cemetery with the Rev. Weldon Thomas officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Sanders Funeral Home.
