Preceded in death by a brother, J. M. Bass. Survivors include, Geneva Bass, his wife of fifty-two years; son Gary Bass and wife Bonnie, of Bedford; son Terry Bass of The Colony; daughter Lisa Guzman and husband Richard, of Irving; five grandchildren Ashley Bass, Amanda Bass, Elizabeth Guzman, Richard Guzman and Robert Guzman; and sister Virgie Mae Gann of Meridian. Prayer service 7:00 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home. Funeral service 1:00 p.m., Friday, March 5, 2004 at Donnellys Colonial Chapel. Rev. Msgr. Jerome Duesman officiating.
