Bass-White
LYNCHBURG ? Mr. and Mrs. Macon D. White, of Lynchburg, announce the marriage of their daughter, Rosalie Zimmerman, to Hannon E. Bass, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. H.E. Bass, of Evington, which took place February 27 in York, S.C. The Rev. John C. Rper officiated.
Mr. and Mrs. Bass will live in Lynchburg.

Hannon Edwin Bass Jr.
Hannon Edwin Jr., 87, of Richmond, passed away September 8, 2007 at Westport Health Care Center. He was preceded in death by his brother, Alfred M. Bass; and his sister, Grace B. English. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Gloria P. Bass; two nieces, Barbara G. Bass and Colleen Bass, both of Richmond; a nephew, Alfred M. Bass Jr. of Providence, R.I.; and his faithful dog, Shirley. Mr. Bass was a transportation inspector for 46 years with the railroad. He retired in 1991. He was a member of Willow Oaks Country Club, Bon Air United Methodist Church, and the Virginia Anglers Association. The family will receive friends at the Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, September 10. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, September 11, at Bon Air United Methodist Church. Interment Riverview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Richmond SPCA, 2519 Hermitage Rd., Richmond, Va. 23220, or any local animal rescue organization.
