"Chuck" Bass, 64, of Nottingham and formerly Fort Worth, TX, entered into rest on Friday October 18, 2013 at Hospice and Community Care in Mount Joy. Chuck was born in Upland, PA a son of the late Edward J. and Jacqueline R. (Jones) Bass. He was a veteran of the U.S Navy and served on the USS John F. Kennedy aircraft carrier. Prior to his retirement, Chuck was employed by the Fort Worth School District. Chuck was a huge fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies. In his spare time he enjoyed volunteering as a softball umpire. He is survived by his four children: Aaron, Rachel, Allison and Cameron and his brothers Edward and Wayne along with sisters Joy Morris and Wendy Vaughan. There will be private services and full military honors at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, followed by the interment.
