Bernice Bass
Mr. Bernice Bass, age 82, of Fayetteville died Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at Cornerstone Nursing and Rehab Center in Dunn.
Mr. Bass was born December 7, 1930 in Sampson County the son of the late Allen & Jenny Jackson Bass and is preceded in death by his wife Darsel Naylor Bass. He is also preceded in death by a son, David Dudley, daughter Helen Dudley, brothers, Percy, Merliss, Ellis & Tilton.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran serving during the Korean War and was a retired route salesman for Pepsi Cola and Coble Dairies.
A Funeral Service will be held Thursday, August 8, 2013 at 7:00 PM at Cromartie Miller & Lee Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kevin Haynes Officiating. There will be a Graveside Service Friday, August 9, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Lafayette Memorial Park in Fayetteville on Ramsey Street.
Survivors include: Daughter: Donna B. Caddick & (husband) John of Hope Mills, NC
2 Sons: Robert Dudley &(wife) Betty of Fayetteville, NC
James Dudley of Fayetteville, NC
Sister: Hazel Tyndall of Dunn, NC
Brother: Milton Bass & (wife) Brenda of Dunn, NC
10 Grandchildren 3 Great Grandchildren & 4 Great Great Grandchildren
The Family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 to 7:00 pm in the Chapel at the Funeral Home before the service.
