  Notes	The Fayetteville Observer, North Carolina, Friday, November 28, 1997 Malcolm V. Bass ROSEBORO -- Malcolm V. Bass, 66, of 794 Myrtle Road died Wednesday in UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill. Mr. Bass was a Marine veteran and a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. He retired from Star Telephone Membership Corporation. A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Grandview Memorial Gardens by the Rev. Allen Overton. Mr. Bass is survived by his wife, Edna Bass; a son, Christopher Bass of the home; a daughter, Sandra Armendariz of Fort Bragg; a sister, Faye Melson of Clinton; and three grandchildren. The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 at Royal-Hall Funeral Home and at other times at the home.
