Brenda Jackson Bass
Mrs. Brenda Jackson Bass, 76, of Spivey?s Corner died Wednesday evening at SECU Hospice House in Smithfield. She was born in Harnett County on February 20, 1941 to the late Clatie and Eva Jackson.
Brenda worked for thirty five years with the Sampson County Clerk of Court as a Deputy Clerk. She was a member of the Westbrook Grange of Sampson County. She attended Robert?s Grove OFWB Church, where she was active in the choir as well as other areas of the church.
A funeral service will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. at Robert?s Grove OFWB Church by Rev. Ricky Warren, Dr. Len Keever and Rev. David Charles Hansley. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Milton Bass, a son, Mike Sills and wife Annette of Dunn, a daughter, Suzette Smith and husband Donald of Dunn, a step daughter, Regina Johnson of Dunn, six grandchildren, Parrish and Hayden Smith, Sara Katherine Sills, Lauren Greene, Katie McPhail, Lindsay Moore, two great grandchildren, John Luke and Noah Greene.
