  Notes	Charles Bassett Died 25 Nov 1938 Charles Bassett, 83, died in the home of his son, Walter J. Bassett, 206 North 11th street, at 10 a.m. today. He had been suffering from pneumonia for a week. Resident with his son for the past four years, the deceased was born in Washington, Ind., in 1855. His parents and wife preceded him in death. Only survivors are the son Walter J. Bassett, four granddaughters and several nieces and nephews. The body will be sent to Washington, Ind., Sunday. Celebration of a solemn requiem mass in St. Simon's cemetery, Washington, Ind. C.T. Egan & Son, undertakers, are in charge of arrangements here. The body will be at the Bassett home Saturday.
