Bass Jr., aged 48, of 1421 South Pierce Street, a retired lawyer and former chief information officer with the Alcoholic Beverage Commission, died Sunday. A native of Little Rock, he was a graudate of Arkansas Law School, a member of of Winfield United Methodist Church and a member of the Arkansas Bar Association. He was a veteran of World War II. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Hilda Meyer Bass; a son, John Michael Bass of Little Rock; two daughters, Miss Turdy Andra Bass of Little Rock and Mrs. Oscar Helmien III of Denver, Colo., and his father, Frank O. Bass Sr. of Little Rock. Funeral arrangements will be announced by Healy and Roth.
