Burial will be in Cumberland Memorial Gardens. Mr. Bass is survived by his wife, Marjorie B. Bass of Fayetteville; two sons, Michael G. Bass of Wilmington, N.C. and Carols D. Bass of Fayetteville; one brother, William J. Bass of Fayetteville; and two grandchildren. Mr. Bass retired from Modern Gas Company after 35 years of service. The family will receive friends at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p.m. tonight. A Service of Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home, Fayetteville.
