Bassett-Walker
A pretty wedding was solemnized in St. Joseph’s church Wednesday morning when Miss albino Bassett, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. peter Bassett of 25 Gardner street, and William J. Walker of 25 Rutledge avenue were married by Rev. J.L. Bissonnette. Miss Irene Bassett, a sister of the bride, attended her and the best man was Albert Dennis. The bride wore White marquiset and carried white roses. The bridemaid wore embroidered rajah silk and carried pink roses. The bride’s gift to the bridemaid was a signet ring and the groom’s gift to the best man was a pair of cuff links. Only the immediate relatives and close friends of the couple were present at the wedding. A wedding breakfast was served to them after the ceremony at the bride’s home. The groom is a local salesman for the Ludwig piano company. After a wedding trip Mr. and Mrs. Walker will ive at 80 Spring street, where they will receive their friends after September 1.
