Edward A. Gosselin
Edward A. Gosselin, 75, of 166 Walnut St., North Agawam, died in Mercy Hospital Thursday morning. He was born in North Agawam and was lifetime resident of that town. Before retirement he was employed by the former Worthy Paper Mill, North Agawam, as a millwright for 33 years. He was a member of St. Theresa’s Church, North Agawam, St. Jean de Baptiste Society, and United Brotherhood of Carpenters of America, Local Union 96. Besides his wife, Elizabeth (Bessette) Gosselin, he leaves a son, Edmond of Baltimore, Md.; two daughters, Mrs. Gordon Merwin of North Agawam and Mrs. Thomas Moynahan of Balitmore, Md.; a sister, Mrs. Delia Benjamin, and a brother, Clifford, both of North Agawam; 12 grandchildren and a great-grandchild. The funeral will be held at the R.D. Toomey funeral home, West Springfield, Saturday morning at 8 followed by a requiem high mass in St. Theresa’s Church, North Agawam, at 9. Visiting hours are from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10.
