Kenneth Bassett
BLOOMINGDALE ? Mr. and Mrs. Donald Bassett, of Bloomingdale, left Chicago Sunday morning by plane for Arvada, Colo., where they were called by the sudden death Friday morning of a brother, Kenneth Bassett, 53, of Denver, Colo.
Mr. Bassett was born in Iowa, the son of Alva and Nellis Bassett. He was a resident of the Bloomingdale community and Kalamazoo before moving to Colorado 13 years ago. he was affiliated with Consumers Power Company as an electrician.
Survivors include his widow, the former Ruth Merrifield; three daughters, Mrs. Bertha Butcher, of Arvada, Mrs. Audrey Mauseth, of Tucson, Ariz., and Mrs. Donna Wells, of Brawley, Calif., his mother, Mrs. Nellie Bassett, of Bloomingdale; two brothers and sister, Donald, of Bloomingdale, Dale, of Kalamazoo, and Mrs. June Lohrberg, of Gobles.
The funeral services and burial were in Arvada on Monday.
