Stuart J. Bass
Stuart J. Bass, age 75 of Fort Gratiot, passed away on October 14, 2024. He was born on September 22, 1949 in St. Clair.
He married Lynne on July 8, 1989.
Stuart was a self taught woodworker, who put his heart into every project. He enjoyed creating things for his family and friends. He loved spending time in his shop, with his dog, Tyson, playing the steel guitar and traveling in the motorhome.
He is survived by his wife, Lynne, children; William M. (Christie) Bass, Andrea L. (George) LaFrance, Erik H. Sklba, and Amy D. (Bruce) Bedard, grandchildren; Greyson H. Sklba, Camille O. Harrison, Luke M. Sklba, Elizabeth J. Bass, Annabelle L. Bass and Alexander Feldhaus, mother, Margaret J.(McIntosh) Bass, siblings; Marnie J. Knight, William V. (Ann) Bass, Margie J. (Jack Roberts) Love and Mary Jo Jobbitt, along with several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Willis J. Bass and brother-in-law, Tim Jobbitt.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
