Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Talbert Funeral Home in Columbia. Mr. Bass was born Aug. 11, 1903 in Union County. He is survived by his father, Jesse T. Bass of Marshville; his wife, Mrs. Louise Leech Bass; a son, Thomas Kemp Bass of the home; two sisters, Mrs. J. Burt Smith of 2112 E. Seventh St., Charlotte, and Mrs. W.W. Piland of Portsmouth, Va.; and a brother, Joe Bass of Columbia, S.C.
