Kittie M. Bass (Picture included)
Kittie M. Bass, 99, of Tucson, died June 29, 2006, just 35 days before her 100th birthday. Born August 3, 1906 in Sherman, TX, to Jesse and Emma Bailey. She moved to Tucson in 1930, and worked as a waitress at Holiday Inn for many years. Her husband, Frank Bass and two sons, Bill and James preceded her in death. Kittie is survived by a son< Charles (Mary Jo) Bass of Tucson; half-sister, Tommie Matthews of Grand Saline, TX; seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren. Service will be Thursday, July 6, 2006, at 10:00 a.m., Evergreen Mortuary, with visitation beginning at 9:00 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Casa De La Luz Hospice Foundation, 400 W. Magee Rd., Tucson, AZ 85704, in memory of Kittie M. Bass. Arrangements by Evergreen Mortuary, Cemetery & Crematory, N. Oracle Rd. & W. Miracle Mile.
