Lucille B. Johnson
INMAN ? Lucille Bass Johnson, 82, of 1550 Compton Bridge Road, died July 20, 1994, at the home of her daughter after a brief illness.
A native of Inman, she was the widow of J.W.L. ?Bill? Johnson Sr. and daughter of the late Arthur G. and Mary Roper Bass. She was a lifelong member of Little Mountain Baptist Church and was retired from Landrum Mills.
Survivors include a daughter, Joan J. High of Inman; a son, J.W.L. ?Bill? Johnson jr. of Inman; a sister, Nell B. Cooper of Wellford; three brothers, Fred R. and Furman Bass of Inman and Judd Bass of Greenville; five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and two -great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 7 to 8:30 tonight at the Seawright Funeral home. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral chapel by the Rev. Ansel Norris. Burial will be in Inman Cemetery.
The family is at the home of her daughter, Joan J. High, 1741 Hampton Road, Inman.
