Albert E. Bessette
Albert E. Bessette, 85, of Falcon Avenue, a machinist for the General Electric Co., baseworks division, Providence, until retiring, died Thursday at the Gable Convalescent Home, Hartford. He was the husband of the late Yvonne G. (Dupuis) Bessette.
Born in North Attleboro, a son of the late Maguire and Acelia (Fournier) Bessette, he moved from Warwick to Hartford five years ago.
He leaves three daughters, Mrs. Anita Wroblewski of Smithfield, Mrs. Jeannette Derochers of Plattsburgh, N.Y., and Mrs. Florence Jacques of Enfield, Conn.; two sons, Arthur J. Bessette of Enfield and Raymond W. Bessette of Ellington, Conn.; 16 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held tomorrow at 8 a.m. from The Butterfield Chapel, 500 Pontiac Ave., Cranston, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 at St. Timothy's Church, Warwick Avenue. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston.
