Jarvis (Bassett), Dorothy Julia ? of Halifax. Passed away on Saturday, September 2, 2017 in Arborstone Enhanced Care. Born May 5, 1920 in Halifax she was a daughter of the late William and Carolina (Orman) Bassett. She was predeceased by her husband, George; 4 brothers and 4 sisters. Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Carolyn M. Goddard (Ken), Mississauga, son, Gregory E. Jarvis, Calgary; sister, Mary Johanna Holmes, Halifax; granddaughter, Tracy Goddard-Holliss (Sam), Mississauga, grandson, Troy Goddard (Pui Shan Chan) ?Kathy?; great grandsons, Ryan, Brayden and Adrian. Dorothy will always be loved and missed by her family. Cremation has taken place. A private interment to take place at a later date in Mt. Olivett Cemetery.
