Nina Bessette, Age 81, died April 13, 1877. Mrs. Bessette was born June 7, 1895 in Ithaca and had been a life-long resident of Lansing. Surviving are 2 daughters, Mrs. Nellie Wright and Mrs. Mary Van Hoten both of Leslie; 3 brothers, Elijah Ward and Frank Ward both of Ionia; Leslie Shellenberger of Ludington; 1 sister Mrs. Milton (Dorothy) Griswold of Webberville and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday 11:30 a.m. at the Gorsline-Runciman Lansing Chapel with Rev. Charles F. Goudey officiating. Interment will be at Deepdale Memorial Park.
