  Notes	Harper?s Community Funeral Home James ?Scott? Bassett James "Scott" Bassett, 67, passed away on Wednesday, June 29, 2022, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne. Born in Decatur, he was the son of the late James and Beverly (Lister) Bassett. He was a member of Decatur United Methodist Church and enjoyed reading and gardening. He is survived by his children, Ryan Bassett and Mia Jackson; sister, Nan (Kevin) Cook; and his beloved dog, Peyton. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Calynn in 2021. A celebration of his life to be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, preferred memorials are to Humane Fort Wayne. Arrangements by Harper's Community Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven.
