  Notes	Providence Journal, Rhode Island, Friday, October 7, 1983 Etta M. Bessette Etta M. Bessette, 71, of 84 Worcester Ave., a former lace weaver, died yesterday at St. Joseph Hospital, Providence. She was the wife of Leo H. Bessette. Born in Taunton, a daughter of the late Eugene and Frances (Horton) Martin, she lived in Riverside for 55 years. Mrs. Bessette worked 40 years for the Rhode Island Lace Co., Barrington, before retiring in 1978. Besides her husband she leaves a daughter, Eva M. Wilmot of Providence, and five grandchildren. The funeral will be held tomorrow at 8 a.m. from the W. Raymond Watson Funeral Home, 350 Willett Ave., with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 at St. Brendan's Church, Turner Avenue.
