Bessette, 78, of Blanche Avenue, an employee of the Rhode Island Lace Co., Barrington, until retiring, died Sunday at Miriam Hospital. Born in Riverside, she was a daughter of the late Michael A. and Eva (Jette) Bessette. Miss Bessette was a communicant of Our Lady of Loreto Church. She leaves two sisters, Estelle Coutu of West Warwick, Gladys Panzarella of East Providence, and five brothers, Leo, Eugene, Ernest and Edmund Bessette, all of Riverside, and Alphanse Bessette of Barrington. She was sister of the late Loretta Bessette and Rita Smith. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated tomorrow at 9 a.m. at Our Lady of Loreto Church, Waterman Avenue. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket.
