It is with grief and sadness the family of Susan Bassett announce her death on December 27, 2014 after a valiant and courageous fight with pancreatic cancer.? Susi is survived by the love of her life, Robert Bassett, Jr, her husband of 30 years; sister Leslie Mathews (Dr. Peter); aunt Joan Cyr and cousin Nancy Field. Her cousin, Roger Dedekam predeceased her.? Susie was the beloved daughter-in-law of Cherell Bassett; sister-in-law to Scott Bassett (Von); Laurie Bassett Icenogle (Guy); and Krissy Bassett Mangiola.
Susi is survived by nephews Ryan and Jeff Mathews, Scott Bassett Jr, Chad and Luke Icenogle, Jake Mangiola and nieces Brooke Bassett and Jamie Mangiola.
Susi is predeceased in death by her mother and father, Robert and Marian Davis; father-in-law, Robert Bassett Sr; brother-in-law, Thomas Bassett and Jimmy Bassett; Bobby's favorite uncle all whom loved her dearly.
A funeral mass will be held on Sat. Feb 14 @ St Matthais Catholic Church 1685 Cordilleras Rd RWC @ 11:00, reception following. In lieu of flowers remembrances may be made in Susi's name to Kainos Home and Training Center 3631 Jefferson Ave RWC 94062
