He was an employee with the N.C. Department of Transportation. The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Royal-Hall Funeral Home chapel by the Revs. Frank Turner and Charles R. Jernigan. Burial will be in Grandview Memorial Gardens. Mr. Bass is survived by his wife, Brenda T. Bass; a daughter, Melissa Davis of Clinton; two sons, Allen Bass and Bryan K. Bass, both of Clinton; two stepsons, Jeffrey Bradshaw of Stedman and J. Brandon Bradshaw of Clinton; a sister, Eloise Davidson of Clinton; a brother, Bobby S. Bass of Clinton; and two grandchildren. The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 at the funeral home and other times at the home.
