Evelyn M. Bassett
Funeral Services for Evelyn M. Bassett, 78, of Perry, will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Behm Family Funeral Homes, 26 River St., Madison.
Mrs. Bassett died May 3, 2002, at LakeEast Hospital in Painesville.
Born Aug. 16, 1923, she was a resident of Perry for 45 years.
The family would like to thank Mary Ann Weekley of Cozy Acres for her love and caring attention to our mother and grandmother.
Mrs. Bassett was employed as a propagator for Yoe?s Nursery for 12 years.
Survivors are her daughter, Cheryl Staley of Painesville; sons, John Bassett of Des Moines, Ia. and Jay Bassett of Perry; and six grandchildren.
Her husband, Charles A. Bassett, whom she married in Connecticut, died in 1994. Her parents, Jay and Mabel (Benedict) Hatch, are also deceased.
Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. The Rev. Will Stackhouse of Perry Christian Church will officiate at services. Burial will be in Perry Cemetery in Perry.
Arrangements are being handled by The Behm Family Funeral Home of Madison.
