Paul Andrew Gaudette, Jr.
PAUL ANDREW GAUDETTE JR. MILTON - Paul Andrew Gaudette Jr., 59, died Monday, Nov. 5, 2012, at his home, surrounded by his loving family, following a battle with lung cancer. Paul was born on Jan. 7, 1953, in Burlington, the son of Paul and Ethel (Bessette) Gaudette. On June 8, 1974, he married Peggy Ann Sullivan in Holy Angels Catholic Church in St. Albans. Paul loved the outdoors, especially hunting, and always looked forward to this time of year. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He also liked to make people laugh and had an excellent sense of humor. Most of all, though, Paul loved spending time with his family; they meant the world to him. Paul was proud of his meat cutting abilities and had been employed by Price Chopper for many years. He was also previously employed by Dowling's as a salesman. In addition to his wife, Peggy Gaudette, he is survived by his sons, Matthew Gaudette and Michael Gaudette and his wife, Kwan, all of Milton; his grandchildren, Taylor and Maya; his adopted son, Merton Pells of Burlington, N.C.; his brothers, Vic of Swanton, Vance of Williston, and Vinny of Georgia; his sister, Paula of Milton; his mother-in-law, Lorraine Sullivan of St. Albans; his sisters-in-law, Cathy Morin and husband, Arnold, of Georgia, and Debbie Paquette and husband, Denis, of Bakersfield; brother-inlaw, Peter Sullivan and wife, Katie, of Fairfax; and by several nieces and nephews. Paul was predeceased by his parents, Paul and Ethel Gaudette; and his fatherin-law, Gregory "Bud" Sullivan. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012, at 11 a.m. in St. Ann's Catholic Church in Milton. Visiting hours will be held on Friday, Nov. 9, 2012, from 4 to 7 p.m. with prayers offered by Fr. Feltz at 5 p.m. in the Minor Funeral and Cremation Center in Milton.
