Theodore Bessette
Theodore Bessette, 70, died after a short illness, Sunday, April 23, 1989 at Verdelle Village.
He was born May 16, 1918, the son of Arthur J. and Helen (Tourangeau) Bessette.
He owned a farm in North Fairfield for 16 years and has resided in St. Albans for the past 17 years.
He is survived by his wife Joan (Campbell) Bessette, of St. Albans; three daughters, Mrs. Henry (JoAnn) Reynolds, of Sheldon; Mrs. Lee (Leshia) Paradee, of Swanton; Marilyn Burne of St. Albans; three brothers, Donald Bessette, of St. Albans; Eugene Bessette of Fairfield; Charles Bessette, of Swanton; four sisters, Hilda Talcott, of St. Albans; Helen Orvis, of St. Albans; Harriet Campbell of St. Albans; Mrs. Otto (Lucille) Orvis, of Bristol. Vt.; several grandchildren, one great-grandson, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother Wallace Bessette and a grandson Richard Remillard.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. in Saint Luke’s Church in Fairfax. Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Heald Funeral Home, 87 South Main Street. Interment will be in Saint Luke’s Cemetery in Fairfax.
