Kathryn Marie Brucki Bass
JAMESTOWN - Kathryn Marie Brucki Bass, 76, passed away Friday, August 29, 2025, at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro surrounded by her loving family.
She was born December 7, 1948, in Detroit, Michigan, and was the daughter of the late James Edward and Agnes Lillian Rem Brucki. She was devoted to her Catholic faith and retired Regulatory Specialist with Syngenta following more than twenty-five years of service. She was an avid North Carolina Tar Heels fan and a member of the Ram's Club (Go Tar Heels!).
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas "Tom" Edward Bass IV whom she married on September 14, 1991; sister, Janet Sendykar; and a brother, James Brucki.
Kathryn is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Lynn McClure of Archdale; son, Drew Wyche McClure, Jr. (Kristin Anderson) of Franklinville; step-daughter, Cynthia B. Smith (Mark); step-son, Thomas "Tom" E. Bass V (Kim), both of Greensboro; five grandchildren, Austin McClure of Franklinville, Josie Spangler, David Bass, Olivia Bass and Elizabeth Bass, all of Greensboro; two great-grandchildren, Jayvin Sierra and Brielle Pennix, both of Greensboro; brother, Richard Brucki (Laurie) of Ocean City, Maryland; sister-in-law, Marilyn Brucki of Charlotte; niece, Kristen Brucki; two nephews, Taylor Brucki (Kelsey) and Dylan Brucki (Bonnie); and great-niece, Charlotte Brucki, all of Virginia.
The family will receive friends from 12:45 to 1:45 PM on Sunday, September 14, 2025, at Cumby Family Funeral Service in High Point. A memorial service celebrating Kathryn's life will follow at 2:00 PM Sunday, September 14, in the Funeral Home Chapel.
Following the service the family will also receive friends at Kathryn?s home in Jamestown.
