James A. Bass, City Employe, Dies at 39
Funeral services will be held in Montery Park tomorrow for James A. Bass, 39, city employe who died earlier this week from cuases believed directly connected with wounds suffered as a marine in World War II.
Bass, who came here from Montery Park two years ago as an inspector-engineer with the engineering department, was there on a two-week leave of absence to consult his physician. Friends said Bass? condiction, for which he received a government disability pension, had worsened in recent months.
Bass, who lived at 310 Tanner Heights, is survived by his widow, Catherine and three children, Nancy, 5, Jamie, 13, and Mrs. S. H. morris, 319 Elm street.
