Born on Sept. 26, 1941, in Louisville, KY to the late Vinnie & Robert Bass. She was preceded in death by her son William C. Freeman, her siblings Edna Wilson, Charles Bass, Betty Span, James C. Bass, Robert Bass, Jesse Bass, & Curry Bass. She leaves behind to cherish all of her wonderful memories, her husband William E. Freeman, her children Dwain Freeman (Bertha), Terrence Freeman (Bridgette), Pamela Richardson (Dale), Patricia Freeman-McGinnis (Dante?), Brian Freeman (Benita), Petrina Freeman Matchen (Andre), her sister Alice Glass (Lester), 27 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren & a host of relatives. Her visitation will occur April 10, 2023, from 5-8pm at Portland Memorial Baptist Church and celebration occurring at 11am April 11, 2023, at Portland Memorial also.
