Vigil: 7 p.m. Thursday at Thompson's Harveson & Cole Funeral Home. Memorials: Sisters of St. Mary of Namur at Our Lady of Victory, 909 W. Shaw, Fort Worth 76110. Mary Erin O'Gorman Bass was born Jan. 29, 1908, in Fort Worth and was a lifelong resident. She was a 1926 graduate of Our Lady of Victory and a charter member of St. Andrew Catholic Church and N.A.R.F.E. The widow of R.A. Bass after 39 years of marriage, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Teresa Whitfill and Billie Armstrong. Survivors: Children, David A. Bass and his wife, Mary Alyce, of Fort Worth, James E. Bass and his wife, Marlene, of Fort Worth and Ethel Bradford and her husband, Jerry, of Conroe; 12 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; sister, Katherine Powell; and nieces and nephews.
