Floyd Bass Jr.

Floyd Bass, Jr., 56, formerly of Hamlet, passed away Saturday, May 23, 2026 at Anson Health & Rehabilitation, Wadesboro.
He was born April 9, 1970, in Richmond County, son of Floyd Bass, Sr. and the late Paula Faye Coates Bass.
Floyd was a simple man that loved his family dearly. He will be missed greatly by all of them.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Paula Coates Bass.
Floyd is survived by his children, Roxanne Holly Nicole Bass Miguel (Alex) and Joshua Wayne Bass (Brittany), both of Knoxville, Tennessee; his father, Floyd Bass, Sr. of Hamlet; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild; siblings, Samantha Michelle Faye Bass, Alyssa Summer Pauline Bass, Donald Paul Bass, Justin Floyd Bass, Christopher Ryan McCall, all of Hamlet, and Jeremiah John Neil Bass of Texas; six nieces and nephews; four great-nieces and great-nephews; and numerous extended family.
Graveside Services will be held on Thursday, May 28, 2026 at 3:00pm at Ghio Holi??ness Bass Cemetery, Guinn?s Mill Road, Laurel Hill, with the Rev. Dean Dixon officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
