Bassett, James Benton Sr., beloved husband, father, and grandfather was born August 2, 1920 in Forest, Mississippi. He passed away March 17, 2007 in Dallas, Texas. He was a graduate of Mississippi College, a flight instructor and veteran of World War II. He is survived by his wife, Elisabeth; sons, Jamie Bassett and wife Doris, Bobby Bassett, and daughter, Betty Conley; grandsons, Tony Johnson and wife Vickie, and Beau Bassett; granddaughter, Kristin Bassett, and brother Charles Bassett.
