Bassett, 86, died 31 July 1940 at his farm home in Lago, Idaho. He was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on 4 March 1854 to Mr. & Mrs. Charles H. Bassett. He married Mary Lee 1875 in Tooele, Utah.
