PVt. Clyde Winfred Kilgore
Mr. Clyde Winfred Kilgore, 80 of Melba Drive, Carrollton, Georgia passed away August 5, 2010.
Mr. Kilgore was born on July 4, 1930 in Carroll County, Georgia the son of the late James Kilgore and Emma Pierce Kilgore.
A retiree of General Motors and Veteran of The United States Army.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a son, Barry Kilgore.
Survivors include his wife, Karen McClung Kilgore of Bremen; sons, Randall Kilgore and Winford Kilgore both of Carrollton and Danny Kilgore of Waco; sisters, Miriam Calhoun of Lithia Springs and Faye Geters of Douglasville; brothers, Arvel Kilgore of Bremen, James Kilgore of Ranburne, AL, Charles Kilgore of Riverdale and Wayne Kilgore of NY; six grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be conducted Saturday at 2 pm from Carroll Memory Gardens with Reverend Kenneth Layton officiating. Bagpipes will be provided by Winter Taylor.
Billy Wayne Kilgore, Douglas Dempsey, Chris Kilgore, Gregg, McNeese, Dwayne Kilgore, Brian Kilgore and Lyle Kilgore will serve as pallbearers. Moose Club Members will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Interment will follow.
