BASSETT, TIMOTHY J., 61, Bakerton, passed away April 17, 2022, at UPMC Altoona Hospital. Born October 22, 1960, in Spangler, son John R. and Monabelle (Lane) Bassett. Preceded in death by father, and son, Brandon Bassett. Survived by mother, of Bakerton; sons, Timothy (Stacy) Bassett and Cory Bassett, both of Northern Cambria; and five grandchildren. Brother of Jacquelyn (John) Stevens, Donald Bassett and Dewy Bassett all of Bakerton. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Formerly employed as a coalminer. Member of Bakerton Methodist Church and many area social clubs. Honoring Tim?s wishes there will be no public viewing or service. Interment, Bakerton Methodist Cemetery. Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria in charge of arrangements. The Bassett family wishes to extend their sincere thanks to Tim?s nephew, Justin Stevens, who has provided his uncle with excellent care, assistance, and companionship throughout his illness. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home to assist with expenses.
