Mrs. Amelia Harrison Bass
CHESAPEAKE ? Mrs. Amelia Harrison Bass, 77, of Bowers Hill died Friday at 9:45 a.m. in a Portsmouth hospital after a long illness.
She was the wife of George Bass and the daughter of John and Mrs. Ellen Grimes Hall. A life-long resident of this area, she was a member of Good Hope Methodist Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. R.E. Warren and Mrs. C.H. Parker of Chesapeake; and three sons, Johnnie Harrison of Chesapeake and Raymond Harrison and James Harrison of Portsmouth.
The body was taken to Snellings Funeral Home, where a funeral service will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery.
