Mabel B. Sawyer
HERTFORD ? Mabel Bass Sawyer, 90, of the 700 block of S. Church St, died Thursday morning, May 26, 1994, in Chowan Skilled Nursing Center.
Survivors include one son, Carl Sawyer of Hertford; two sisters, Katherine Farmer of Norfolk and iris Pike of Gettysburg, Pa.; two brothers, Erie Bass of Norfolk and Jim Bass of Hertford; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren;; two stepgrandchildren; and three stepgreat-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conductged at 11 a.m. Saturday inm Cedarwood Cemetery with the Rev. Keith Vaughan officiating. Swindell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
